A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Student, Staff, Parent and Community members
We are looking forward to our students reaching their potential with the support of the staff, parents and the community in general. It is the individual student achievements that define the success of our school and build on its sound academic and extra curricula traditions.
I believe students learn best when they feel valued, listened to and challenged, but most importantly when they feel cared for and safe. As Principal, it is my commitment to you that we will always work with you to achieve this important goal. Hence you may notice three words gaining popularity around the school – BELONG, ENJOY and LEARN. The words are simple but the actions behind them require people coming together and working diligently towards common goals. The Site Learning Plan describes the improvement agenda and how we will be working towards our students and staff feeling a sense of belonging, enjoyment and learning.
We ask students to achieve their best work in the classroom “Strive for Excellence – Meliora Probemus”. We encourage them to develop a passion for sports and the arts. We help them contribute productively to the community through service.
It is my hope that your time with us is enjoyable, where you will feel a sense of belonging and learning is valued.
